Friday, January 23, 2009 @ 7:52 PM Feeling kinda bored these days. And lately, was thinking what college should i get into and what course should i take. This thinking popped-up in my mind since my teacher asked us to do an assignment on our ambition. Well, this assignment was kinda good because we can get to know what we want and what we should do. Well, I’ve decided on what course i wanna take after SPM. Before that, my classmates was talking bout air-stewardess and i was quite interested in it but my mom just wouldn't let. So, I'll just continue aiming on my ambition. Wanna know what is it? Hmmm, i wanted to be a designer since i was a kid! But i don't really know what i want. When i was around the age of 7, i wanted to be a fashion designer. Until i was at the age of 11, i realize that it was not easy being a fashion designer because i don't really like sewing clothes! Next would be interior designing? Maybe not. Cause i don't really like to measure stuff and i'm so not into household furniture and other house designing. Too bad =( Which should i choose? Fashion designing? Interior designing? Nahh.. I think that graphic designing would be better for me but which college? Sunway University College? The One Academy? Limkokwing University? Woooooot ~ I've checked through the internet on these colleges. The college which i have chose is Sunway because that's the one i wanted, it's Graphic Multimedia and Design. I just love it, multimedia and graphic design together? Nice! For The One Academy, not much choice for me and not really into it but still can study there. Lastly, Limkokwing? TOO EXPENSIVE LAH! The course which i wanted needs more than 3credits which includes English, i think i can do it. My mom told me that if you study hard, you can get what you want, money doesn't matter. Really need to study hard to achieve it. Graphic Multimedia and Design I’m coming! =D Diploma in Graphic Multimedia and Design, need to study for almost 3 years if I've passed! And further studies to get a degree, think bout it first. Year 1, Covers fundamental skills and knowledge in design theory and practice, computer, drawing and practical majors such as Typography, Illustration and Design. Year 2, Builds on the conceptual development of specific technical skills and design processes in the context of Graphic Design and Multimedia Design. This course places students in real-world projects and working situations, teaching them to bring creative ideas to a professional context with a broad framework in developing students’ creative skills. Year 3, Includes an internship with industry partners involved in advertising, design, publication, packaging, photography, production or retail. Okay, this is long! I think people will get bored by reading this. If you had read all, I’m happy for that! *Wink* |
